Real Estate Business Unit is focusing on office building investment in Central London which is the biggest real estate market in Europe. Our business is to create value by active management such as refurbish and redevelopment. After enhancing value, we will sell properties to investors with long term rental income.
Our recent projects are as follows;
71/77 Queen Victoria Street (City of London, 190,000sqf, refurbishment):
We purchased this property in March 2006 and added value by obtaining planning permission to increase its floor area. In August 2008 this property was successfully sold.
Camomile Court (City of London, 78,000sqf, refurbishment):
This property was originally occupied by Fortis Bank and after their vacation considerable refurbishment and increasing floor area are expected. Construction work is to be commenced in May this year and completion is expected in early 2009.
11 Ironmonger Lane (City of London, 20,000sqf, refurbishment)
9-15 Sackville Street (Mayfair London, 35,000sqf development):
While pursuing investment opportunities in central London, we are now surveying real estate market of continental Europe and other asset class for future business expansion. We are also prepared to support or advise real estate activities of other Mitsui Europe offices and its subsidiaries.
