The Service Business Development Unit is engaged in a broad range of service businesses. Within the Consumer Product and Service Division, the unit is also pursuing the development of new types of service business, medical
/ healthcare, media, information and communication related business.
It aims to act ultimately as an agent for the consumer rather than merely as a representative for suppliers, and would like to contribute in providing the consumer with increased convenience by offering interesting and attractive service contents which meet the consumers' demands, and procure an access line to ensure that these services and contents will reach consumers effectively. The unit also aims to introduce unique new consumer businesses from Europe to the Japanese market.
