We selected a Turkish environmental group, “TEMA Foundation”, who has dedicated to “Dry-lands Environmental Sustainability Integrated Research Areas (DESIRE) project thorough out the country, for the Mitsui & Co., Ltd. Environment Fund in 2006, was applied by 87 institutions including TEMA and our contribution will be up to USD 500,000 for their activity in 2006 and 2007.
It was first time we have donated to environmental groups outside Japan since we started this environment fund in 2005.
We believe that this contributes not only to their activity itself but also the future of this country and region through it.
